When users don't log out of Arbor Finance correctly, this can cause their user account to become locked.
This can prevent other users from completing other tasks in the system, mainly Period End and Year End functions which require only one user to be logged in.
When this happens, you need to clear down the user lock by either
- getting the user to logon and log off correctly
- making the user account inactive.
To make a user account inactive:
- Go to System > System Setup > User Details.
- Select the user that is locked and click on Edit on the right hand side and change the status from Active to Inactive.
- Click on Save.
You should then be able to complete Period End or Year end and reactivate the user once this task is complete.
