System Requirements

As with all MIS software, there are minimum requirements laid out for each computer used to access Arbor Finance. Only a web browser is required to access Arbor Finance; however, the speed at which internet pages and files can be processed depends on the computer's specifications. It is also important to have a fast enough internet connection to allow the computer to operate at the expected speed.

Hardware specification

When you use Arbor Finance, your local computer renders the internet pages and performs some data processing. For optimum performance, we recommend the following minimum hardware specifications:

Saving files in Browsers will vary depending on their configuration. Chrome by default automatically saves to the downloads folder with no opportunity for the user to select where the file goes to. This setting can be changed in the Settings menu in Chrome. For more advice on this talk to your IT support or go to the Google website. The current instructions are listed below but these may subject to change.

Change download locations in Chrome

You can choose a location on your computer where downloads should be saved by default or pick a specific destination for each download.

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.

  2. At the top right, click More and then Settings.
  3. At the bottom, click Advanced.
  4. Under the "Downloads" section, adjust your download settings:
    • To change the default download location, click Change and select where you'd like your files to be saved.
    • If you'd rather choose a specific location for each download, check the box next to "Ask where to save each file before downloading."
