Sales Invoicing - Getting Started

Welcome to the new Sales Module, before you start there are a few setup items you should complete.

  • Organisational settings changes
  • Email templates

System Set up changes

Organisational Settings

Go to System > System Setup > Organisational Settings 

There is a new section in the organisational settings for the Sales Invoicing module:

  • Footer Note - this appears on the bottom of the invoice
  • Receipt Style - will change the receipt style (only default at present)
  • Invoice number prefix - allows you to change the prefix to all invoice numbers
  • Sales invoice style - will change the invoice style (only default at present)
  • Payment terms - you can adjust the standard payment terms here, this can be altered on an invoice-by-invoice basis
  • VAT registration - enter your LA registration number here


Email Templates

Go to System > System Setup > Email Templates 

There are several new email templates in the Email Templates tab you may wish to update them they cover the standard text when you email the following items to customers.

  • Sales Invoice
  • Sales Invoice Receipt
  • Sales invoice resent
  • Sales Invoice credit note
  • Customer statement
