Financial Summary

The Financial Summary screen can display an up-to-date overview of the balance of your funds and bank accounts in Arbor Finance, based on all the transactions that have been entered. You can choose to display a global summary, budget summary or single bank account view. From each summary, you can drill down to the underlying information. 

 

To view the overall summary

  1. From the top menu choose Financial Summary.

    The Financial Summary screen is displayed, with View set to Overall including VAT by default. Arbor_Finance_-_Financial_summary.png

    The screen displays these overall balances: Brought Forward, Income, Expenditure, Orders Outstanding and Carry Forward.

To view the budget summary

  1. From the top menu choose Financial summary.

    The Financial Summary screen is displayed. 

From the View drop-down list, select Budget Summary.Arbor_Finance_-_Financial_summary.png

The screen displays these budget summary balances:

  • Expenditure: Total expenditure allocations, Actual expenditure to date, Orders outstanding, and Balance.
  • Income: Total income allocations, Actual income to date, and Balance.
  • Bank balances: Default bank, Other bank accounts, and Total funds available.

    To view a single bank account summary

    1. From the top menu choose  Financial summary.

      The Financial Summary screen is displayed.

The screen displays these balances for the selected accounts: Brought Forward, Income, Expenditure and Carry Forward.
