Introduction to managing user access to the Arbor Finance Platform (via RM Unify)

This guide will give you an introduction to managing user access to the Arbor Finance platform (via RM Unify), user access, and user permissions. Our Learning Centre will have all the functional details you need.  

RM UNIFY - Set up to access Arbor Finance

Below are some instructions to help you load your Arbor Finance tile onto your RM Unify dashboard. If you have network/IT support, do ask them to help you load your Arbor Finance tile onto your RM Unify Dashboard

It may be that you have been advised that your school is a pre-existing user of RM Unify. It might be being used to support connectivity or filtering. Please speak with your network manager/IT support and share these instructions with them to load the Arbor Finance tile on to your RM Unify Dashboard.

Please all schools ask your network manager to ensure that the www.rmunify.com is whitelisted (if you click on the RM Unify link, and can’t access the site, it is likely to have to be made a trusted site).

• Creating permissions for the Users in the Arbor Finance platform

 First Steps

Set up RM Unify for you alone, the Finance Lead as Super Admin User.  For existing RM Unify users you or your network manager/IT should add you on as a user and grant you Super admin rights. Our instructions above include how to do this. 

LATER,  AFTER YOUR MIGRATION HAS TAKEN PLACE - NOT NOW you will be able to set up other users. 

• If supported locally, we recommend that you create a non-teaching staff user for your support partner. This means they will be able to access your system and help resolve issues.

Follow the instructions  Installing the Arbor Finance Tile. Queries regarding RM Unify and Arbor Finance permissions for your Finance team, will be covered as part of the training.

• Top tip - make sure your local network/IT team have white-listed RM Unify, Arbor and Arbor Finance to ensure all the setup is accessible.
